Savera Foundation's Natural Resource Management initiative is a comprehensive approach aiming at promoting sustainable use, conservation, and regeneration of natural resources in rural Jharkhand. The initiative focuses on implementing efficient water management systems, afforestation efforts, and sustainable agriculture practices to ensure a healthy environment, resilient ecosystems, and thriving communities. By empowering local communities to take ownership of natural resource management, Savera Foundation seeks to create a balanced and prosperous future for all, where natural resources are valued, protected, and utilized for the well-being of both people and the planet.

Our Intervention:

  • Developing and managing sustainable water infrastructure to ensure equitable access to safe and reliable water resources, resilient water systems.
  • Ground water recharge through techniques like Gully plugging, check dams, and Trench cum Bunds (TCB)
  • Forest conservation by fostering community action like plantation drive, seedball preparation and throwing to the fallow land.
