During the Covid wave, 4 of our village volunteers went door to door to remote villages of Thansindih panchayat which is 40 km away from the Primary Healthcare Institution. These health workers as support system of the government removed the apprehensions against vaccinations by speaking in Santhali and sometimes using a handmade chart and got registered 120 people for the vaccination.
Amidst the covid crisis, Savera got managed to get curfew pass for 2 of its staff and made available immediate food and essentials to 200 families in Tisri, Giridih.
Responding to the need of protection and prevention we produced and distributed cloth masks to 15000 community members.
