Activities during the Year 2017 – 18
1. WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY:
World Environment day was celebrated on 5th June, 2018 at Upper Primary School, Beriya Khas at Deori Block in which 32 women and 22 children participated.
2. WORLD PLAY DAY:
On 28th May, 2018 world play day was celebrated under the Theme FREE PLAY at Deewan Tola of Deori block. Various sports events were organized for the children.
3. GLOBAL ACTION MONTH:
The theme of the event was PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT. This was celebrated by the medium of a rally. The community members along with children participated in the rally.
4. BLOCK LEVEL NETWORKING MEETING ON RTE
This awareness meeting gave information about the importance education. They were also told about government schemes.
 
5. Supply of Kitchen Garden Seed Kit
The neighbour of beneficiaries has also demanded for the supply of kitchen garden seed kit. They are also enthusiastic and keen in growing nutritious crops.
 
6. Promotion and strengthening of Women Self Help Group
The SHG members raised their voice & issues in Prasasan Aapke Dwar Programme. They demanded for the renovation of pond in their village.
 
7. Training to Right to Education Act for PRI
PRI members are aware about the importance of education. They regularly monitor schools, children as well as teacher’s attendance and mid day meals.
 
8. Training on Vocational Courses
Various training for trades like beautician, tailoring, mobile repairing and electrician is being run for the youths in Tisri Block.
 
9. Canal cleaning work
The community people of Kosmai village successfully cleaned a canal of 850 ft in length. Both males and females contributed in the campaign.
 
10. Dam Construction
A dam has been constructed voluntarily by the community. It is 18ft in length, 6 ft in width and 10 ft in height. Cramp has also been constructed to stop the overflow of water.
